Ukraine War : Extremely Bad News
World War Three is already baked in the cake.
A USA missile spewed cluster bombs on a beach in Crimea, injuring 146 sunbathers and killing two children. The Russians swore retaliation against the United States. How is this not World War Three?
If I were the United States I would apologize abjectly and profusely, say it was all a mistake, blame it on the Ukrainians, and promise to cease such attacks. This might avert World War III. Instead this earthshaking news was almost completely suppressed. There is only one way to interpret this. The USA doesn't want its citizens to know about the gruesome deaths. Then they can say that the promised Russian retaliation is unprovoked aggression. The USA must defend itself. The goal is to win support for direct war with Russia. The goal however will not be to win any such war, rather to prolong the war indefinitely thusly ensuring endless large increases in the military budget. You see, Ukraine is running out of men. They can't keep doing this forever, and forever is the goal. The USA wants to convince its men that it's a good idea to go fight Russia overseas, taking the place of the expended Ukrainian dead. Recently a big step in this direction was taken when the secret police "automatically" registered all eligible citizens for the draft. They weren't getting enough volunteers.
If all this weren't enough, the USA has already taken a giant step toward a nuclear first strike by destroying early warning radar in Russia. Did that get into the news?
What will Russia do. They have already begun transferring nuclear technology to North Korea and targeting NATO personnel in Ukraine. I'd look for heavily arming Cuba. Maybe install nuclear-tipped missiles there. If they really want to get serious, destroy some of the USA's spy satellites as they transit Russia. Or if they dare, blow up that NATO nuclear strike missile base in Poland. They've been wanting to do that ever since it was installed. Indeed way back in 2015 they threatened war over this base. News that also was deemed of no interest to the public.
The USA is so committed to World War Three I don't see how it is stoppable. Indeed I would say it has already begun. The fuse is lit. No one is doing anything to put out the fire. When will the bomb go off, that's the only question. I say it won't be long.
The silence in the US press is extremely ominous. That reminds me of an old joke known to jazz musicians....
The explorer in his pith helmet is being canoed up a small river in Africa. In the distance he hears the beat of native drums. As they increase in volume he says, "Drums! Those native drums! What can this mean?" The guide replies flatly, "drums stop, very bad."
They continue up the river. As they pass a village they see no people, only totem poles made of skulls. Again our man asks, "what does this mean?" And the reply comes again, "drums stop, very bad."
As they approach a narrowing of the river there is a sudden silence. The drums have stopped! Even the birds and insects are quiet. Very concerned, our man asks the guide, "the drums! The drums have stopped! What now??" The guide solemnly replies,
Drums stop.
Very bad.
Bass solo.
I think the plan is to start the war before the election. The incumbent always gets a big boost from that. What other hope has he got?
